vplay.gg is a product of Varygaming, headquartered in Singapore, with operational teams in China and India. Varygaming also owns and operates vplay.games. This Privacy Policy explains how vplay.gg ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website and use our instant-play games platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information — when you register with email and password, we collect your email address, a securely hashed version of your password (we never store your password in plain text), and, optionally, a display name.
- Communications — if you contact us for support, we collect whatever information you include in that message.
1.2 Information from Google Sign-In and Facebook Login
If you choose to sign in using Google or Facebook instead of creating a password, the provider shares the following with us, with your permission, at the moment you sign in:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your profile picture
- A unique account identifier from that provider, used to recognize you on future logins
We never receive or have access to your Google or Facebook password. You can review and revoke vplay.gg's access to your Google or Facebook account at any time from that provider's own account settings (Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access; Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites).
1.3 Information collected automatically
- Gameplay activity — which games you play, favourite, or save, tied to your account (or to an anonymous, randomly generated identifier if you use the Service without an account).
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 4 below.
- Usage and analytics data — via Google Analytics, including general device/browser information and how you interact with the Service, to help us understand and improve it.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account and keep you signed in
- To sync your favourites, saved games, and recently played history across sessions and devices
- To personalize game recommendations
- To send account-related emails — email verification and password-reset links
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or security issues
- To analyze and improve the Service
We do not use your data for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only as necessary to operate the Service, with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf — our hosting provider, our email-delivery provider (for verification and password-reset emails), and Google Analytics (for site analytics).
- Legal authorities, if required to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or ensure user safety.
We do not share your account email, password hash, or provider identity information with the third-party game studios whose games are playable on the Service.
4. Cookies
- Session cookie — an essential, HttpOnly cookie that keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by JavaScript and is required for the Service to recognize your account.
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to help us understand aggregate usage of the Service.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account (see our Data Deletion instructions), we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time.
- You may sign out or log in from any device with an active session.
- You may revoke Google or Facebook's access to your account at any time from that provider's own settings.

7. Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and are never stored or transmitted in plain text. Sessions are secured with HttpOnly, Secure cookies. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
