Copyright Policy & Game Licensing

vplay.gg is operated by Varygaming, headquartered in Singapore. This page explains the licensing basis for the game catalogue on vplay.gg, how we handle copyright content on the platform, how to report suspected infringement, and what happens after a report is submitted.

1. Game licensing: our Playgama partnership

The vplay.gg game catalogue is distributed under a licensing and distribution partnership with Playgama (playgama.com), an HTML5 instant-games platform and publisher network. Games served through this partnership are made available to vplay.gg for embedding and distribution under Playgama's own publisher agreements with each game's developer or rights holder. vplay.gg does not claim ownership of these games, their artwork, audio, characters, or other assets — all game assets are served directly from Playgama's infrastructure, not copied or rehosted by vplay.gg.

This partnership covers the licensed catalogue as distributed by Playgama. It does not extend to unofficial or fan-made titles that use a third party's trademarked name or characters without that third party's own authorization — see §7 below on how we handle those.

2. Third-party game content, generally

The large majority of games playable on vplay.gg are developed and owned by independent third-party studios and developers, made available to us for distribution and embedding under license, publisher agreements, or open distribution terms. vplay.gg does not claim ownership of these games, their artwork, audio, or other assets. Trademarks, game titles, and characters remain the property of their respective owners.

We take reasonable steps to only distribute games we have the right to make available, and we review titles before publishing them to the catalogue. If you believe a game or asset infringes your copyright despite this, the process below explains how to report it.

3. Reporting a copyright concern

Send a report to info@varygaming.com with the subject line "Copyright Report — [Game Title]". To act on your report, we need:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed (or a representative description if reporting multiple works).
• The specific URL(s) on vplay.gg where the allegedly infringing material appears.
• Your contact information (name, email, and, where applicable, the company or organization you represent).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury or an equivalent good-faith declaration, that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative.

Incomplete reports may take longer to process or may be returned to you with a request for the missing information.

4. How we handle reports

On receiving a complete report, we will review it and, where we determine the report is valid, disable access to or remove the identified content from vplay.gg as a matter of our own platform policy. We will make reasonable efforts to notify the game's provider or developer that content has been removed and why. This process reflects our voluntary trust & safety commitment as a platform operator, applied consistently with the framework for network service providers under Singapore's Copyright Act 2021.

5. Counter-notice

If your game or content was removed and you believe this was done in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to info@varygaming.com with subject line "Copyright Counter-Notice — [Game Title]", including:

• Identification of the content removed and its location on vplay.gg prior to removal.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury or an equivalent good-faith declaration, that you believe the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, contact details, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for resolution of the dispute if it proceeds further.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We will review counter-notices in good faith and may reinstate content where we determine the original report was made in error, at our discretion, after attempting to resolve the dispute directly with the reporting party where practical.

6. Repeat infringer policy

We maintain a record of copyright reports received against game providers and developers. Providers associated with repeated, substantiated infringement reports will have their content removed from vplay.gg and will be barred from future distribution on the platform.

7. Trademark concerns & fan-made titles

For concerns about trademark use rather than copyright, please use the same contact process above with subject line "Trademark Concern — [Game Title]".

Separately from the licensed catalogue described in §1, some HTML5 game feeds include unofficial, fan-made titles that reference a third party's brand, character, or franchise name in their own title (for example, a fan-made game calling itself a sequel or "edition" of a well-known commercial franchise). Our Playgama partnership licenses the underlying games; it does not, on its own, clear third-party trademark use in a title a fan-made game chooses for itself. We treat this as a standing risk to review for, not a one-time cleanup: titles we identify as using a third-party trademark without that party's own authorization are removed from vplay.gg's catalogue on an ongoing basis, whether flagged by a rights holder's report or found in our own review.

8. Governing law

This Copyright Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore. Nothing in this policy limits any rights a copyright owner may separately have under the Singapore Copyright Act 2021 or other applicable law.
